Pinch the young plants when they are about 30 cm tall to stimulate growth. This encourages better branching and increased flower production. Zinnias prefer a sunny location and well-draining soil. Water regularly, but avoid waterlogged conditions to prevent mold formation.
Tip for harvesting: Check if the flowers are ready to be cut by holding them at the base of the stem and giving them a gentle shake. If the flower still wobbles, it needs more time to develop. Only cut when the stem feels firm so that the flowers stay beautiful in the vase for longer.
